Discover our Tulā teapot, handmade in Modena.

Tulā means balance in Sanskrit.

The Tulā teapot embodies a balance between the round body and the strict geometric shape of the handle. The rough white surface is complemented by the warm walnut wood of the handle and lid. The material of the teapot is the Gres porcelain available in northern Italy, which is particularly popular for its durability and high quality.

Each piece is handcrafted by Italian master craftsmen to ensure your one-of-a-kind teapot will last.

The teapot holds about 1.7 liters of tea. The integrated tea strainer made of stainless steel is very practical for preparing a good cup of our organic teas. Fill the strainer with a teaspoon of the loose leaves and pour boiling water over them. After a few minutes, remove the infuser, close the lid and enjoy your warm cup of tea.

We add our free tea gift set worth €50 to every teapot.

The Making of the Tulā Teapot

Our material is Gres porcelain, which has a much better quality compared to ceramics in terms of resistance, durability, cleaning.

It all starts with the mold, a chalk mold that we make for each individual piece.

When we have this shape, we make a second "in negative": it's a rectangular shape with a hole inside that has the shape of the article. Then we pour liquid ceramics into it. When it dries in 2 - 3 days we open this mold and the piece is finished but very fragile.

All finishings, holes, corrections are done by hand during this step. We have to be very careful because the piece is fragile. After that we have the first firing process in a "muffle" kiln.
Then we glaze the product and finally we have the second firing at high temperature (1,250°) in the same kiln.

The teapot is fully glazed, durable and cleanable and will accompany you for decades.
